I was lucky enough to find the personal freedom and confidence to do the thing that makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning - and that is helping YOU find your own confidence and joy in life.




My Story


Who I am

I am a Confidence and Life Transformation Coach who is passionate about helping others make change, move on, become unstuck and find their own confidence.

I am your champion when you need me, a bit nuts at times, but honestly empathetic and authentic.

I am also a Mum, Step Mum and Grandmother, and a professional woman who has worked in both the public and private sector managing people and projects.

Having experienced divorce, troubled and turbulent relationships, bullying in the workplace and serious health issues, I understand the challenges these things bring.

I have experienced much change in my life and have lived in over 20 houses in 3 different countries and I don't think I'm finished yet!

Those who know me well would tell you that I have always been a confident 'go getter' who just keeps getting back up and making the best of everything life throws at her.

But I had a secret that I wasn't even aware of until several years ago...

I was massively anxious, a worrier. I made life more difficult for myself than it needed to be. I believed the way I thought was normal - I thought overthinking was what kept me and mine safe, made me good at my job.

But I never stopped to question any of this - after all - isn't this what hard working Northern women do?!! Well that was the 'writing on my wall' - what I had been brought up to believe.

I have always been the kind of person other people are drawn to - I liked to help people from an early age.  My nickname in my family was 'Aunty Chrissy' and I was happy to spend all the time in the world helping others to fix their problems.

As a young woman, I left my job as a Police Officer to join my husband in Germany and had two beautiful daughters. I was devastated when my marriage ended and I moved back to the UK determined that I was going to be everything to my young children, then aged 18 months and 4 years old.

With no where to live...

With no where to live, I literally had to put a roof over our heads and food on the table (no different to lots of single parents out there) and I unwittingly created a persona to deliver all of this. A professional, organised, capable person who could do it all - raise children by herself and have a successful career to  provide for them and also be their moral compass. I took great pride in being a great mum and a professional career woman. But all of this meant being in control at all times!

Well - I did it! And that made me feel good - sort of. Because somewhere along the way - I forgot about me. I forgot how to relax. I forgot how to experience real joy. I forgot how be, well ... myself.

Outwardly I seemed to have it all. I had remarried and had a great husband, good job, lovely house, fabulous friends, amazing kids - but inside it was still very difficult. I found it hard meeting new people, I wasn't confident in my job even though all the evidence was to the contrary, and I didn't know what it felt like to look forward to something - everything was such a chore.

Being me didn't feel very good and eventually it all started to take its toll. When I realised (and admitted) that I had to take steps to help myself, I had some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which helped me to identify negative thought patterns. But it wasn't a fix. It was a coping strategy - and coping can be exhausting.

THEN - I found Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping as it is more commonly known. I was initially attracted to it for weight loss and it was only when I cried throughout the whole of my first session that I realised I had so much more to sort out than my weight!! I also realised that I had inadvertently stumbled across something that was truly life changing.

After working with a practitioner on my anxiety and lack of confidence, my life started to change at such a pace it was hard to believe it was happening.

I stopped worrying about what people were thinking about me, I lost my social anxiety, I stopped feeling like a fraud at work. Everything became so much easier and straightforward.

My relationships with everyone improved and I lost that manic need to be in control of every detail of my life. I started to look forward to everything! I took pleasure in the smallest and simplest of things. I was able to relax and enjoy me time without guilt.

As I continued to tap and work through my issues one by one, my whole outlook took a turn for the better. I decided that I needed to be trained in this  so that I could start using it for the benefit of my family and friends (I am a fixer after all!).

I quickly realised that I wanted (needed) to share this wider than my own circle and so I trained to advanced level as an EFT practitioner and then trained some more, adding Matrix Reimprinting, NLP Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapy so that I have a diverse range of services to offer to those I work with.

Because of my past experiences and inherent desire to help I am a natural life coach with a mission to reach as many people as possible. It doesn't matter to me what your issue is, what you are trying to overcome or achieve. I have equipped myself with a tool box full of skills to help you - and if necessary I will throw the whole lot at you!

Fast forward to now - and I have put in hundreds of hours worth of sessions helping people who were just like me, to take back control of their lives.

I’m only at the beginning of my journey, but I’m keen to do more and I have every faith in Chris as my guide!

Tapping has been a very powerful experience for me and is continuing to provide me with insight into my own self. It is helping me move forward with my life in a positive way, after years of suffering with anxiety and trying various therapies, this EFT is the most beneficial and effective technique I have found. It's a little strange at first because it's different but once you get started you realise it's a good different.  Sometimes it's hard to find exactly what it is that is causing your problem by yourself, but Chris really helps you pin down exactly what it is and you are guided and supported through your session. I have found the tapping makes a difference to me every day and even after my first session I found myself getting on with my life and doing everyday things I would previously have struggled with without thinking about it. After my second session I bought myself caviar just because I thought I might try it as I'd never had it before and it was a new experience for me. Tapping helps you become a better you, the best you. Chris has been really great for me and the tapping can help with so many things like depression, anxiety , weight loss and confidence. I'm so glad I discovered it!

I had heard about EFT through friends and family so I decided to give it a go.
